I ordered Roly Poly as my first GrubHub experience in Upstate NY. The experience was memorable and not in a good way. First off you need a $30 minimum order, which wasn't too hard for 2 people. We ordered a large chicken melt, a large tuna, one with loaded baked potato soup, the other with broccoli cheddar soup, potato salad, 2 macadamia cookies, and a bag of Sun Harvest cheddar chips. They were out of broccoli cheddar soup and Sun Harvest chips. After they tried calling and I missed their call they decided to substitute the broccoli cheddar for loaded baked potato soup and the chips for Lay's and Doritos. Neither one of these substitutions were suitable, so I called back after the delivery. The manager John offered an $8 credit for our next purchase which was fine. However I became extremely ill after consuming half of the tuna and half of the potato salad. After experiencing this illness for 24hrs I called the manager to let him know of my situation. He said everything was fresh and I already received a credit. No apologies offered. I'm despondent in the response offered and don't feel I will be back to this establishment.
Good food, standoffish staff
I went and looked at the menu on the Grubhub app, but it was too late for delivery. The items on the menu looked so good we decided to drive out and pick up the food. This was on a Sunday late afternoon. I don’t if there’s different “cooks” during the week, but let me tell you EVERY SINGLE THING WE ORDERED WAS DISGUSTING. My wife and I are both ill hours after eating it. Just plain gross food. Everything was coated in old mayonnaise and what tasted like well-past ripe vegetables that had a sickly sweet taste to it. Bad. Bad-bad.
Better than subway even though getting my food takes a little longer because the guys are a bit new
Specials all the time. Great rolled sandwiches hot pressed or cold. Very large menu and very friendly service. Across from Jay-K lumber on corner of building.
