My favorite place to hang out on saturday afternoons. Serving starbucks coffee, the cafe is beyond satisfactory. I have yet to encounter an unfriendly, unhelpful employee. So if you need to relax and get some down time....grab a coffee, and spend hours reading and learning!
Huge Beautiful Book Store also Love the Coffee Shop/Cafe'/Bakery. So Relaxing Atmosphere No one bothers you. You can just take a book and a cup of coffee and Enjoy and Relax.
The attitude of ALL the local employees at this location was great and their willingness to try and help me with ALL of my Nook Tablets and paid subscriptions was first-rate and very much appreciated by me. However, the support that these employees received (minimal to none as far as I could see) from higher-ups seems to indicate an apparent unwillingness of the Barnes & Noble corporate management to allocate sufficient resources to enable B&N to leverage the face-to-face customer assistance capability it could truly enjoy and exploit over an EXTREMELY well-managed competitor such as Amazon. It was agreed that I did NOT get everything I contracted for and pre-paid for when I took out an annual subscription of several national newspapers, no gift card, no credit - nothing. Furthermore, I donated hours of my own technical support time to help B&N troubleshoot and, hopefully, fix their system so as to no-longer be flawed by this problem. Hope something positive comes of this. GH.
