While shopping in Ollies in New Hartford today we were ready to cash out and the customer in front of us had a price issue. Another cashier came up only after 10 more people were in line, and rather than taking the next customer in line takes the last person in line. We called the store immediately after leaving with none of the items we intended to purchase and the manager (who was standing at the front of the store during all of this) hardly lets us finish a sentence before he claims he has called 5 cashiers up to the register. Oh, you mean the 5 cashiers that were standing at the front of the store while your customers were waiting in an ever growing line?
They do have Bargains but sometimes it's not very good to cash out very slow long lines

The deals are OK. Some of the stuff is a really good deal and most is average for an outlet. I would have given more stars if the local store wasn't completely filthy. The point of sale area is so dirty that it looks like it has never been wiped down since the store opened. The shelves are never dusted, the items never clean. It's pretty bad. The store has been there for a few years, yet the POS area looks like it was constructed in haste using leftover wood salvaged from a shed demolition. I get keeping overhead low for a bargain store, but give your customer the smallest nod of respect by keeping it clean.
