And the worst of it- my complaints were NOT addressed . I don't need you to nod your head and lie to me saying something is going to be done . I need you to make sure that this person doesn't return to the same location and if that means that the director or the CEO had to drop everything to be available to care for the kids than that is what should be done.
Don't even get me started on the crap facilities for summer care. I have really closed my eyes to so many issues because the options are limited but leaving kids with someone so incompetent after they blatantly disregard kids safety and then allowing them back to work ?!?! I have no words.

The current person just didn't show up one day and guess what- instead of being fired or removed from that location they were back at work the next morning.
Let's also discuss the fact that this person is partially disabled and in charge of dealing with kids- due to their disability they let the kids go outside alone to wait for the bus. Just let them hang out alone outside . WTF DO I PAY FOR?
There is NO reason for this person to not show up to work and to leave 2nd graders alone after being dropped off the school bus . NO REASON. Not ever.
The turn over rate is insane at the Clinton location. It appears they do not care at all who is caring for the kids and anyone half way decent runs far away from this place.
Btw this is multiple state violations .
Hopefully people will avoid this place like the plague . One mom did a reply all that came to me months before this fiasco asking to be removed from their list because she "would rather leave her kid with wolves" - apparently they misplaced her kid .. TWICE. Guess what I totally believe it!
Terrible after school program provided by the new Hartford location at local school in Clinton. I have no words to express how disgraceful the program is to the Y name. I used the Y on Long Island for years and I had no reservations signing them up when we moved .
